I'm not totally sure but I think this song isn't measured in a 4/4 time signature, right? For the most part that gives it an interesting edge but I'd recommend you to change where those kicks and snares come in, cause sometimes it feels like they just cut across all of a sudden, if you get what I mean. In other words, sometimes the kick or the snare come too quickly or too late and kind of mess with the rhythm. I hope that makes sense.

I think it would be good if just before the bass drop you include some kind of synth or just slowly increase the pitch of one of the instruments, as a sign of what's to come. The piano on the left channel is nice but it makes the right channel feel empty. Maybe you could add some delay or reverb to it.

I would also highly recommend you to look out for a tutorial on SIDECHAIN. I assure it will boost this song's potential. Basically, it will help the kick to have more presence when the fuzzy bassline comes in, and it also is a cool effect in general. Good for making your songs sound better.

All in all it's pretty cool that you made something like this on your first try with FL. Mine was boring. Wait, they still are. Keep it up, dude.

Thanks for the feedback insanedevi, and sorry for the late response. I'm not extremely active yet. I did learn to sidechain, and I used it. Thanks for the help! (It is in 4/4, I just messed with the kicks in the drop)

First of all, I love how it starts! I really dig the dry sounding guitar. It's got a lot going on like you said but I think that's like the song's "attitude". I do feel that some of the synths and piano are a little blurry or fuzzy, like, they don't sound clear enough, and that could be negative since they lead the track's direction. There's a bit at 2:05 (the synth strings) that personally I'd like to hear in a more organic way, so to say - maybe best strings VSTs? The bass is awesome throughout the song, the rhythm falls and gets up nicely (special mention to the part at 0:55) and I like the dance/trance vibe it gives me. Don't know if it's intentional but it sounds like something I'd listen on repeat in a flash or indie game. Overall, it's not the type of music I listen to with frequency but I like the feel and would love to hear it in some kind of videogame.
